Recommended itineraries

The coastline of Eraclea Mare and its hinterland offer the possibility to follow various itineraries on foot, by bicycle, on horseback and by boat to discover the typical environment of the area, still partly unspoiled.

The Pine Forest
The lush pine forest is the ideal place to relax and walk on foot or by bicycle along paths immersed in nature, sheltered from the summer heat.
Here you can enjoy pleasant walks, moments of relaxation and outdoor activities, breathing fresh air and admiring the rich vegetation. The pine forest offers a peaceful and rejuvenating setting, perfect for families, sports enthusiasts and anyone who wants to disconnect from daily life.

The Laguna del Mort
Access to the Laguna del Mort is located to the right of the Mariclea marina.
From here, on foot or by bicycle, you follow a dirt path immersed in the pine forest to the mouth of the Piave.
Along the route you can observe local wildlife inside huts dedicated to birdwatching, experiencing contact with nature in an evocative and peaceful environment.

The Piave River
Following the Revedoli canal you reach a boat bridge that leads to the Piave. Going up the right embankment you can admire the typical river landscape with balance nets operated from traditional fishing huts.
From the boat bridge, turning left, you reach Cortellazzo, with its tourist and fishing harbor, built around the Cavetta, the canal that connects the Piave and Sile rivers.

The Reclamation Landscape
To learn about the reclamation epic, we recommend a visit to the Reclamation Museum of San Donà di Piave, which tells the story and development of the territory between the Piave and Livenza rivers.
The ethnographic section preserves testimonies of the life of farmers and artisans, while the naturalistic section reconstructs the marshy environment before drainage. Of great interest is also the section dedicated to the Great War.

The Litoranea Veneta
From the marinas of Eraclea Mare, Torre di Fine and Brian, recreational navigation itineraries depart through natural landscapes and historical testimonies.
The Litoranea Veneta connects a dense network of rivers and canals parallel to the Adriatic coast, once the artery of the Serenissima’s traffic.
Today it is possible to navigate from the Po Delta to Trieste and go up the Livenza, the Meduna and Noncello rivers to reach villages like Motta di Livenza, Portobuffolè and Pordenone.
